SpaceProjects.uk provides a framework for space companies to create projects and supervise UK undergraduate and masters students doing their individual and group university projects remotely. There is no cost as the projects are a part of the student’s degree, and this offers an opportunity for companies to explore new ideas, form links with universities, and get ahead in recruitment. For students, taking part allows them to apply their knowledge to a real-life space problem, develop space specific skills, and get job insights. The space sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK. Employers, however, often highlight a lack of skilled graduates, and students, a lack of opportunities to get experience. SpaceProjects.uk was created to give students space experience before they graduate.
