Spark Photonics Design, Inc. (Spark) is a leading U.S.-based provider of photonic integrated circuit (PIC) solutions. Spark operates in three business segments: Technical Services, Software, and Hardware. In Technical Services, Spark offers component, circuit, tile, and full-reticle design, layout, and process design kit (PDK) services across all material platforms. In Software, Spark is the exclusive North American agent for Luceda Photonics and produces Check Mate Design Rule Check (DRC) software to enable PIC designers to completely own their design flow. In Hardware, the company sells PIC Kits that include fabricated and characterized chips to help PIC researchers rapidly gain experience in chip measurements.
