I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania with a doctorate from The Johns Hopkins University in electrical and computer engineering. My research focuses on the design and fabrication of photonic integrated circuits. I have over 7 years of experience in the full life cycle of research and development from the use of high-level and open-source design/simulation tools to the fabrication of devices in a cleanroom environment. As a postdoctoral researcher I have also completed numerous photonic tapeouts with Advanced Micro Foundry and Tower Semiconductor. I have published my research in more than 10 journal/conference papers.
