Sparks NGO

Sparks India has been organising awareness campaigns since 2019 in skill development programmes for rural women and helped women in setting up micro businesses. Going forward, we are focusing all our energy on our flagship programme, Sakhi. Through Sakhi, we aim to empower young girls in small towns and rural India. Sakhi enables educated and accomplished women to virtually adopt a girl and guide her in ways that leads to her social and psychological freedom. We want to make sure that these girls are not conditioned to feel inferior, something that is quite common in small cities. We urge every empowered woman to take charge in shaping how these young girls see themselves and build a future filled with audacious women who change the world. Sparks India Social Welfare Foundation is a registered NGO under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013.
