Since 1996, Spartan Research has been providing unique and differentiated independent equity research services to the global buy-side community. Initially, we strive to identify providers that are truly independent and without conflicts of interest such as an investment banking affiliation, research-for-hire, or company consultancy relationships. We conduct extensive due diligence to determine that the research produced is unique within its own respective vertical and that it is proven to be Alpha-generating with several years of backtesting data. We currently represent independent research providers ranging from the forensic accounting / quality of earnings space with a focus on shorts, to channel checks and distribution surveys across the Industrials and Automotive sectors.
