The company was founded by Mike Shaw who has more than 17 years of experience in GIS technology, and software design, development and implementations. Mr. Shaw's background and experience includes more than 11 years of work at Esri where he was an integral part of the ArcGIS Mobility, Server, and Editor teams developing Esri's core technologies. SpatialMax has capitalized on this body of experience and its core competencies include design and development of mobile applications with particular focus on assuring “build to suit” functionality and utility.
