SPCE Racing

SPCE Racing is a student-run organisation based at Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai. Comprising of a variety of students ranging from first year to graduates, the team designs, constructs and races open-wheeled cars to compete in India’s largest engineering design competitions. The competition, consisting of both static and dynamic events, assess students’ abilities on the grounds of engineering design, component design and business insight. Competing since 2010, the team has steadily improved in its performance. The culmination of this work has been strong performances in the Indian competitions and awards like the Best Fuel Economy Award, 3rd Overall Podium Finish and the Technical Innovation Award in its maiden competitions. This has been a result of a culture of strong fundamental engineering understanding, innovative concept developments and a passion to perform at our highest level.
