SPE Abu Dhabi is a non-profit professional society striving to provide a professional home for more than 10,000 engineers, scientists, managers, and educators in Abu Dhabi, UAE. It is a local section part of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) based in Richardson Texas, the section work closely with the industry, the government, the institutes and academia to advance the learning of its members in all aspects of the oil industry; offshore and onshore, nationally and internationally. With over 1200 members, 3 student chapters and a very strong board we aim to enhance the industry experience and help people achieve their true potential. Mission: To collect, disseminate, and exchange technical knowledge concerning the exploration, development and production of oil and gas resources, and related technologies for the public benefit; and to provide opportunities for professionals to enhance their technical and professional competence.
