SPE Bergen Section

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a professional association whose 97,000-plus members worldwide are engaged in energy resources development and production. Sections are local affiliates of SPE. Sections provide the opportunity for SPE members in a geographic area to exchange technical information, network with peers, support student chapters, and engage in other activities to benefit their communities. The primary mission of SPE sections is to disseminate information through regular meetings and educational programs. The SPE Bergen Section is based in Bergen, Norway. It has some 700 members including student members in the greater Bergen area. The section hosts a variety of events for its members during the year. The section board of directors consists of members from the region who have volunteered to serve on the section board. Board members are listed as "employees" on this LinkedIn page.
