The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a professional association whose 97,000-plus members worldwide are engaged in energy resources development and production.
Sections are local affiliates of SPE. Sections provide the opportunity for SPE members in a geographic area to exchange technical information, network with peers, support student chapters, and engage in other activities to benefit their communities. The primary mission of SPE sections is to disseminate information through regular meetings and educational programs.
