SPE Harstad Section

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a professional association whose 132,000-plus members worldwide are engaged in energy resources development and production. Sections are local affiliates of SPE. Sections provide the opportunity for SPE members in a geographic area to exchange technical information, network with peers, support student chapters, and engage in other activities to benefit their communities. The primary mission of SPE sections is to disseminate information through regular meetings and educational programs. The SPE Harstad Section is based in Harstad, Norway. It has ca 50 members. The section hosts a variety of events for its members during the year. The section board of directors consists of members from the region who have volunteered to serve on the section board.
