SPE Thermoset Division

The Thermoset Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is dedicated to promoting scientific and engineering knowledge relating to thermosetting materials and processing techniques. The BOD is comprised of a diverse group of industry leaders from a wide range of companies who bring their expertise from various aspects of the thermoset industry. Thermosets are ideal for the replacement of traditional solutions such as metal, ceramics and engineering thermoplastics. They offer the unique opportunity to consolidate parts, reduce weight and eliminate secondary operations while improving end use performance and cost. Thermosets are injection and compression moldable.
