We are UC Berkeley's only Indian-centric speaker series student organization with over 30 UC Berkeley members and a strong alumni network. We aim to present our international audience with India's rich cultural fabric by featuring a diverse array of distinguished guests from various sectors of Indian society, including politics, business, sports, and entertainment. Past speakers include luminaries such as poet Javed Akhtar, cricketer Unmukt Chand, the first female IPS officer Kiran Bedi, Bollywood actor Shashank Arora, and politicians Smriti Irani, Piyush Goyal, and Ajay Maken. Through conversations with these esteemed speakers, we aim to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of India's dynamic cultural and societal contributions on the global stage.
