Spearhead Project Earth

Spearhead Project Earth™ is a non-profit foundation created by The Spearhead Group with the purpose of giving back to our global community, preserving nature (including our waterways), and helping to educate people about the importance of being good environmental stewards. Spearhead Project Earth’s first program is focused on a unique island situated on the Delaware River, called Burlington Island (Burlington, NJ) Spearhead Project Earth™ combines shore clean-up activities with raising awareness through education. We believe that having first-hand experience, helping to remove single use plastics from the environment in order to be properly recycled, is one of the best ways to raise awareness on the impact of our use and misuse of plastics. Volunteer groups will also have a chance to enjoy nature in a beautiful setting while learning about the rich history of the island and the harms of plastic waste. We are determined to restore the integrity and beauty of this landmark site for all of us who value the Delaware River, Burlington Island, NJ, and our responsibility to preserve international waterways. Spearhead Project Earth is accepting volunteers for cleanups as well as administrative tasks such as marketing, environmental presentations, and even becoming a part of the boating/leadership crew.
