Special Ceramics (SCL) was founded in 1988 with the simple objective of delivering high quality refractories at the best prices. We have remained committed to this objective since our founding three decades ago. Today we are a leading innovator, manufacturer and supplier of quality refractories in India and abroad.SCL has created a niche for itself in the industry and is one of the leading suppliers of refractories to the Glass industries and Carbon Black industries. SCL is also the only manufacturer of Feeder Expendables refractories in India.
SCL is exporting its refractories to more than 25 countries including Asian, Middle East, African and CIS countries. SCL has also started its supplies to Europe recently. Our Turnover is growing at a healthy rate of 36% year on year.
SCL manufactures and customises all products based on customer requirements. We give our customers the flexibility to request packaging in smaller, easier to handle sizes, and also in bulk sizes for specific requirements.
We also manufacture special refractories based on customers’ requirements. We are open to visiting their manufacturing facility, study the same and suggest suitable refractory solution to achieve maximum performance output. We design and supply Kiln Furniture, tailor-made items to best fit the customers’ need.
SCL’s manufacturing facilities are located at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, India with a total production capacity of 12000 TPA. The plant is well equipped with the best in class production facility. Raw materials are handled in a five-Storey Mill House comprising of a range of modern machines including Jaw crushers, Impact Mills , elevators, Four-deck vibrating screens, Magnetic separator, Storage hoppers for each material , Batch weighing trolley system and High speed counter current mixers. Forming process is completed by various range of presses, Vibrating tables and Vibro- presses. Fully controlled dryers and automated shuttle kiln complete the cycle.
