Special Formwork is a UK based company, located in the West Midlands. We specialise in the design and manufacture of purpose-made steel formwork for the casting of concrete.
Our company is a family-owned company, with over 60 years of experience. We have delivered many projects that include the formwork and fabrication for the construction industry.
In 1958 our steel fabrication company, Mercian Weldcraft Limited, was established by our chairman William George Williams. The business now continues to fabricate steel formwork ever since its establishment.
Special Formwork was set up as the sales and design organisation. However, it is now one of the leading designers and manufacturers of purpose-made steel formwork in Europe.
We are proud to supply bespoke formwork for use on some of the most demanding and prestigious construction and infrastructure projects in the UK, Europe and Globally.
We manufacture an extensive range of purpose made steel formwork, including circular column formwork, rectangular column formwork, Tapered column formwork, oval column formwork and elliptical column formwork,
Formwork for wind farm bases , sea walls, piers bridges and tunnels.
In addition to this we also manufacture a range of construction equipment including , concrete skips, lifting equipment, C Hooks, Access & Platforms and Concrete chutes.
