The Special Operations Climbers Coalition (SOCC) was founded by four active and former special operators dedicated to sustaining community and brotherhood through the profession of mountain guiding.
Our mission is to support veterans pursuing professional qualifications through the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) and the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE). SOCC will foster a supportive community providing professional development opportunities and financial assistance for these courses. We are committed to equipping our members with the resources and guidance necessary for success as professional mountain guides.
We are building a highly connected and thriving community of mountain professionals, creating pathways for professional growth and success through collaboration with experienced mentors.
