Specialized Testing has been in business since 1989 providing materials testing services to engineers, manufacturers, inspectors, and construction professionals. Services Offered: Construction Materials Testing Construction Products Qualification Testing Construction Field (Jobsite) Testing Other, including consulting and manufacturing plant inspections The laboratory performs testing of various construction products with a focus in the areas of construction materials testing, fastening systems, and tests of pre-fabricated lateral force resisting wall panels. Testing services include product development testing, quality control testing, and product qualification testing for recognition by approval agencies such as IAS (International Accreditation Service), ICC-ES (International Code Council – Evaluation Services), city of Los Angeles, DSA (Division of State Architect), and other agencies. Specialized testing is also ISO 17025 accredited. Specialized Testing provides services in four focus areas. These are: concrete and masonry materials testing, product qualification testing, field testing, and consulting. Field testing services including In-Place Masonry Shear Tests, Cast and Post Installed Anchorage Tests, Flatjack Tests, and other in-situ field tests. While the majority of the testing is done in-house, Specialized Testing also does on-site (field) testing.
