Specialty Honing is a 3rd generation precision honing workshop with a combined 80 years of experience. We specialize in close tolerance honing, with tolerances down to .000030" (thirty millionths of an inch) and surface finishes to 2RMS (root mean square). We are capable of honing sizes ranging from .040 inches to 6 inches and lengths up to 36 inches. Our state of the art gaging allows us to measure with accuracy down to .000005" (five millionths of an inch).
