Since 1968, Specification Rubber Products has been a manufacturer of rubber components for the waterworks industry. Today, our company is a primary gasket and sealing products solution supplier to ductile iron pipe, valve and hydrant producers and distributors. We also offer specialty mechanical molded goods for industrial applications such as general/ heavy manufacturing, electrical transference, vibration systems, general sealing, energy sectors, commercial applications and mining. As custom molders of high quality, close tolerance, engineered rubber products, Specification Rubber has the technology, engineering, equipment and experience in producing a wide array of components. These components vary from simple to complicated, and small to large in size. Polymers in use today include SBR, natural rubber, nitrile, EPDM, neoprene, silicone and fluoroelastomer. Spec Rubber is certified to the ISO 9001 quality standard and recently celebrated its 20th anniversary of certification. Our rubber compounds and components go through rigorous testing throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet the requirements of industry standards and customer specifications. Having a full time on-site rubber chemist and a state of the art laboratory allows for swift development of new compounds. In house engineering allows for projects, regardless of their complexity, to be directed and completed smoothly.
