SPEDP is a national organisation whose aim is to promote and foster the need to provide health care and education for children and adolescents with endocrine and metabolic diseases in accordance with the highest and most recent scientific knowledge, as well as research and dissemination in this area.
Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology is a medical speciality aimed at children and adolescents with hormonal diseases, i.e. those that compromise the normal functioning of the glands, namely problems with growth and pubertal development, diabetes, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal diseases.
