Speedy TK is more than a children's book brand—it’s a family-led movement empowering kids to dream big, embrace their identities, and explore the world through storytelling and science. Founded by Hawa Kandeh and co-authored by her sons, Hakeem and Idris Tawaaradou Kandeh, the brand was born in 2024 with the release of Speedy TK in The Gambia.
What began as a creative family project has grown into a mission-driven initiative offering bilingual content (English/Spanish), interactive STEAM workshops, and tools for self-discovery like the Superpowers Checklist. Inspired by their Gambian-Spanish heritage and raised in the UK, Hakeem and Idris show that leadership and creativity have no age limit.
