History of Spektra
We started our business as wastewater treatment consultant in year 2000 as Spektra Ikhtias with 5 employees. During that time, we mainly focusing on local wastewater industry market, assists them to achieve water discharge standard comply to DOE Regulation.
When our specialist team grew bigger, we start to step into pure water business in year 2005. We design and install the pure water system which could achieve < 1 uS/cm. For the next 10 years, we continue to expand our market in both wastewater and pure water industry. We had built and commission more than 100 water treatment system in 15 years time with ZERO failure, our customers are satisfied with our system design and after sales service. We are proud to say that our first customer is still our customer today.
With fame and reputation gains through the decades, other than being a successful player in water treatment industry, we also become sole distributor for many water treatment related products such as WTW instrument, Lovibond, Aquarator and Veolia's Products like Actiflo, Evaled, Hydrotech & Rapide Strata.
In 2019, Spektra had acquired Oneness Water Sdn Bhd which later known as Oneness Purifications Sdn Bhd. Oneness mainly focus on products in water purification application including RO membrane from Toray/CSM, RO Chemicals from Italmatch, Self-cleaning Filter from Azud and High Pressure Pump from Danfoss. This makes Spektra further strengthen in RO water system solution.
Today, Spektra group of business has grown to annual turnover of more than RM 20 Million and about 40 employees are working together to achieve a greater goal. We have our process design, project and service & maintenance division to provide one stop solution for our value customer. We might not the biggest water treatment company in Malaysia, but we believe every single effort we made will lead Malaysia towards a more sustainable environment for our future generation.
