Spektrochem Paint Technical Center provides fast and economical research of raw materials in various formulations of architectural paints in order to prepare guide formulations, case studies, dosing efficiency, dosing stage during production and tests of architectural paint and coatings.
RESEARCH OF RAW MATERIALS
We are experts in testing raw materials for architectural paints in terms of their workability and efficiency of use in water-based paint formulations. We develop start point guide formulations taking into account the doses of various raw materials (ladder tests) and test their impact on the properties of paints and coatings. We test the stability, synergy with other raw materials and compatibility in paints of all PVC ranges, taking into account the requirements of the NAFTA, EMEA, Asia-Pacific markets and legal regulations regarding the use of raw materials.
We have a library of raw materials from around the world on the basis of which we prepare formulations for testing our clients' raw materials. Thanks to our raw material resources, we can start work very quickly and present research results just as quickly.
TESTING SERVICE
The laboratory performs an extensive range of tests of architectural paints and coatings, including weathering and lightfastness, scrubbaility and washability, hardness, adhesion, abrasion, flexibility, hiding power, gloss, color and appearance, viscosity and much more. The laboratory conducts tests in accordance with over 150 international standards. In addition to the test reports, photos are provided showing the test results, which can be used in technical or marketing materials.
