School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Jamia Hamdard is a flagship School known for its hard-working and talented team of budding researchers continuously toiling to contribute to the field of medicine. Our esteemed faculty members are listed under the World's top 2% of scientists (Stanford University, 2021). Jamia Hamdard is deemed to be a University, an Institute of Eminence as recommended by MHRD, Govt. of India. In NIRF ranking it is ranked 1st in Pharmacy Institutes for three concurrent years (2019, 2020 , 2021and 2024) and 41st position in University category. It is accredited in ‘A’ grade by NAAC. The school offers B. Pharm, M. Pharm, Diploma and Ph. D courses. SPER, Jamia Hamdard comprises of the following Departments - 1. Department of Pharmaceutics - The Department provides two postgraduate courses: M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) and M. Pharm (Quality Assurance). 2. Department of Pharmacology - The Department provides two postgraduate courses: M. Pharm (Pharmacology) and M. Pharm (Pharmacy Practice). 3. Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry - The department provides two postgraduate courses: M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) and M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Analysis). 4. Department of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry - The department offers PG courses: M. Pharm (Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry) and M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Biotechnology). PlaceCom is the official placement platform. To make our students industry ready, we have our homegrown initiative PharmaKon - Chrysalis of Knowledge brought to life under the aegis of our DEAN Prof. (Dr.)Farhan Jalees Ahmad and our honorary Coordinator Prof. (Dr.) Zeenat Iqbal. PharmaKon serves as an interactive platform to bridge the gap between the students and the industry by providing the opportunity to connect and learn from our renowned alumni.
