SpesLab is an analytical laboratory specialising in molecular analysis of food and feed. Founded in 2015, this independent, privately owned laboratory is managed by Dr. Andrine Smith who has a doctorate in Food Science, a two-year post doctorate and more than 10 years’ experience in the fields of food science research and laboratory practice.
The company consists of a staff of highly qualified persons, who all contribute with their expertise and experience to provide timely, trustworthy and professionally accurate results.
Tests are performed according to internationally accepted standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
SpesLab has ISO 17025:2017 (SANAS) accreditation for Salmonella serotyping and STEC screening and confirmation, both techniques using real time PCR. We have also recently obtained DALRRD registration for Salmonella Serotyping.
SpesLab provides a personal level of service that builds long term relationships with clients.
