About TU Clausthal SPE Student Chapter
"The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is the largest individual member organization serving managers, engineers, scientists and other professionals worldwide in the upstream segment of the oil and gas industry" (www.spe.org) TU Clausthal Student Chapter is the first SPE Student Chapter founded in Germany in 1987. SPE TU Clausthal aims to enable communication between students of E&P related sciences and industry professionals. Furthermore, we intend to provide a sound foundation for networking between fellow students and other chapters all over the world to build a strong community. Our Student Chapter has more than 90 members. We offer field trips, company visits, workshops, company presentations, technical talks, etc.
