The Society of Petroleum Engineers - UQ Chapter

UQ SPE aims to provide avenues for students to learn about the current issues and developments within the energy sector and provide opportunities to network with professionals and academics in the fields of science, engineering, medicine and economics. As both a UQ student society and Chapter of SPE Global we have 2 core objectives: 1) As a professional chapter: To inform, educate and make accessible the energy industry to our student base. 2) As a student organisation: To demonstrate the relevance of the industry in the light of the most prevalent challenges of the 21st century; Energy poverty, climate change and sustainability.
