Founded in 1976 in France, SPHERE is a French family group led by John Persenda. European leader in household packaging and producer of bio-compostable materials, SPHERE has been developing, for more than twenty years, increasingly eco-responsible solutions. SPHERE manufactures and ranges of innovative environment-friendly products for the general public, professional users and local authorities mainly in Western Europe : refuse bags, fruit and vegetable bags, freezer bags, cooking bags, reusable bags and shopping bags, film and paper for food contact, aluminium trays and rolls, disposable and take-away tableware, etc. The group's success is based on private labels, its innovation strategy through BIOTEC ® the research and development laboratory and production site, and its national brands: ALFAPAC® in France, FRIO® in Italy, VITA® in Denmark and PROPSAC® in Benelux/Belgium.
