SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth) is a non-profit, voluntary youth movement dedicated to enriching education by promoting an awareness of India's classical heritage and inspiring the young mind to imbibe the values embedded in it. Founded in 1977 by Dr. Kiran Seth at IIT Delhi, SPIC MACAY has grown to encompass chapters in over 400 places across 250+ districts in India, and has a presence in over 20 countries abroad. We organize programs of classical music and dance, folk arts, crafts, yoga, and classic cinema screenings inside school and college campuses throughout the world, striving to connect youth with the rich cultural tapestry of India.
