SPIES - South Pacific Indigenous Engineering Students

South Pacific Indigenous Engineering Students (S.P.I.E.S) is a student lead association. Founded in 1992 at the University of Auckland, we aim to support engineering students of Māori and Pacific Island descent. With a 200+ member cohort, SPIES is actively involved within the faculty, university and community. The number of SPIES graduates is increasing every year, working nationally and internationally at a high level. We believe from the suc­cess of our graduates, that the programmes and support offered by SPIES is of significance to students. Coupled with industry assistance, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of young Māori and Pacific engineers.
