HISTORY
After the success of Le Jeroboam in Paris, it was time for Chef Maurice Belhaj and his wife Mrs. Fátima Belhaj to move to a new land, and the couple opened the Michelin-awarded restaurant La Place, in Vale do Lobo. After the successful experience, the couple decided to bring the family on board, and opened Spikes in 2003. That’s 17 years of history, and of continuous innovation to ensure the delivery of the best possible service. Their two sons (Alex and Kevin Belhaj) bring innovation and quality management, to allow the couple to have time to do what they do best – serve the best food.
