Spinal Alignment Solutions (SAS) is a new company that provides alignment solutions for the degenerative lumbar spine. SAS encompasses everything the spine surgeon community has learned about alignment in the past 12 years of research. SAS Pillars are patented and include: 1. 6 unique off the shelf Pelvic Incidence (PI) Rods(TM) supported by data and AI-modified based on segmental lordosis, disc and vertebral heights. Second layer of development was AI superimposition of PI-Rod shape with Rods contours from successful ALIF, LLIF and TLIF operations without revisions or adjacent segments at 2-years and excellent patient reported outcomes. 2. SAS Pi-Rods have segmental markings for recommended tulip heads intersections and account for a range of patients between PI <40 and > 80 degrees. 3. Alpha launch of Degen Surgical Planning Software that enables automatic capture of segmental alignment including vertebral and discal measurements.
