Spire

Spire is a development and environmental youth organisation that focuses on information work and political influence to create change. That is why we collaborate with young people in the South and are concerned with communicating South perspectives in our work. Most of our activity is about creating greater awareness and increased knowledge among people in Norway about how we can create a sustainable world. We focus both on North / South issues, and how Norwegian politics is affecting the whole world. Our goal is for more people to get involved, and to change politics and the unjust structures in the world. Therefore, we give extra attention to these four topics: Climate and the environment, food security, sustainable urban development, and international trade.
