We are Switzerland's first crowdfunding platform for student loans. We connect students in need of money with private investors who wish to invest in THE resource of Switzerland - education. Students sign up to www.splendit.ch, selects and publishes the terms of their loans such as amount, maximum interest and duration and private investors provide full or partial financing of a student. Splendit matches students and investor in an auction process, issue documentation and manages payments through the lifetime of the loans.
A student loan allows students to fully focus on their studies instead of losing valuable time and commitment through part-time work. Private investors gain access to a new market with the opportunity to make sustainable investment away from traditional capital markets. Splendit is an authorized financial intermediary as per the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act and SRO-member at Polyreg.
