Spoon it! Edible Cookie Dough

Spoon it! is about nostalgic memories of baking with Ouma and licking the spoons, bowls, beaters, whatever had some sweet, yummy cookie dough on. And loving it more than the cookies themselves! We have replicated this treat by making it with wholesome ingredients (no funny stuff), using heat treated flour and omitting eggs and baking powder; thereby making it safe without any risk of getting sick. Yum! Whilst living and traveling in Europe, we came across an edible cookie dough shop in Berlin… what a treat this was! When I recently returned to South Africa I realised that there was nothing like that here :( … and Spoon it! was born :). I love spending my time making cookie dough that will take you back to a time where innocence and good old fun was the in-thing.
