SpoonieCult was created in 2016 as a patient support and advocacy community for complex, rare & chronic illness patients. It began as a creative way to empower individuals to share their experiences, and work together to find solutions to cope & heal.
Over the years, we've hosted online events, created content, supported advocacy campaigns, spread awareness, and challenged folks to think outside the box about their illness experience.
Rooted in compassion, dark humor, authentic experience & honest conversations -- SpoonieCult encourages patients to become the leader of their journey. We advocate for empowered patient leaders, and a systems based approach to healing, while leveraging the power of shared experience to navigate the twists and turns of a challenging journey of unknowns.
