The Greek Association for Sport Management & Recreation is a scientific non-profit organization. Its office is at Thessaloniki and its colors are blue, yellow and white symbolizing the Greek and the European Union flags.
Its logo is two flames unite. One flame is symbolizing the science of management and marketing and the other the sport and exercise science. The two flames are dynamic and are joined so perfectly with the light emitted to illuminate the path to knowledge and progress.
Its purpose is the reflection and research on issues of management / marketing of sport, the presentation of research findings in the Greek and international research area and to promote scientific management and leadership of sports. Additionally, basic ambition is to study the educational needs within the management and administration of sports and contribute to effective update, as is the provision / exchange of specialized scientific knowledge with academics, professionals and students.
The purpose of the Hellenic Scientific Association of Sport & Recreation Management (HSASMR) is also monitoring the theoretical and practical developments of the sports management and marketing and helping to create highly motivated sports managers.
