SLG is one of the largest trader of Piped Natural Gas and the largest trader of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to the Industrial and Commercial markets in Southern Africa. SLG provides industry with Natural Gas through an extensive pipeline network directly from the source at Sasol Synfuels in Secunda. SLG supplies pipeline gas to various industrial areas in KZN from Newcastle through Richards Bay and as far as Umbogintwini in the south of Durban. SLG also supplies Compressed Natural Gas to Industrial customers located as far as 150 kilometres from the gas pipelines. SLG's customers include some of the leading Blue Chip companies in South Africa that manufacture and supply to the international export market. We also supply gas for electricity generation to Independent Power Producers. All our Customers are offered energy solutions that meet their specific objectives and infrastructure needs. The process begins with a full analysis of their business in order to customise the most effective energy solution. Customer training for technical and management staff is also provided to ensure that they are equipped to manage their gas usage effectively and efficiently. Spring Lights Gas' technical advisors, who are registered SAPGA regularly consult with customers ensuring their full understanding of the usage of gas in their environment.
