Founded in 1981 by Dale and Liz Deppe, Spring Meadow Nursery began as a small contract-growing operation. Over the decades, it has grown into one of North America's leading and most respected providers of woody plant liners. Today, nurseries of all sizes across the continent trust Spring Meadow for top-tier propagation services and exciting new plant varieties. We're proud to be a market leader in the propagation of flowering shrubs, potted liners, and starter plants. Spring Meadow is also the developer behind the Proven Winners® ColorChoice® brand—one of the most recognized and trusted names in flowering shrubs across North America. You’ll find these distinctive plants in Proven Winners containers at premier garden centers and retail outlets throughout the U.S. and Canada. Despite our growth, we remain a family business at heart. Founders Dale and Liz continue to provide vision and guidance, while the next generation—Jeremy and Daniela Deppe—leads our team into the future with energy and innovation. Spring Meadow Nursery supports the Horticulture Research Institute.
