Spring-UP Global Network (SUGN) is a youth-led not-for-profit, working to bridge the literacy gap between children in rural and urban Ghana. Founded in 2019, SUGN is on a mission to connect tertiary students and young professionals to provide career guidance, mentorship, and leadership training to pre-tertiary schools in Ghana. In addition, we’re nurturing the reading, writing, and STEM skills of children through our iRead iLead Campaign. At Spring-UP Global Network, we are working to achieve the UN SDG4 Targets 4.1 and 4.6.

Launched in 2020, our iRead iLead Educational Campaign has established 10 libraries across five regions in Ghana, stocked with over 10,000 books, primarily authored by Africans. This initiative has positively impacted the lives of over 24,000 children.
Through the Mentor Me Programme, SUGN connects pre-tertiary students with industry leaders, professionals, and tertiary students. The programme offers personalised mentorship, career awareness, and career guidance, helping students explore and prepare for emerging 21st-century career opportunities.
Through our Back to School Drive, SUGN supports students and families by providing essential school supplies and resources at the start of each academic year.
We are two-time nominees for the Humanitarian Awards Global.
