Springfield is a Special Interest Organization dedicated to supporting the Penn State Dance Marathon, affectionately known as THON. THON is a year-round effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer that culminates in a 46 hour no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon every February. The money that THON raises goes to the Four Diamonds, which supports children and families battling cancer at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.
