Springmead School and Nursery

An award-winning co-educational independent preparatory school and nursery, we welcome children from rising 3 to 11 years. Situated in the beautiful village of Beckington, near Frome, on the Wiltshire – Somerset border, our vision is to ignite a passion for learning and for life. This happens every day through exciting, engaging lessons and also through the wide range of enrichment activities children experience over the year such as various lunchtime and after school clubs, subject enrichment days, annual productions and class performances, the Annual Science Fair, residential, bushcraft and school trips. As a testament to our commitment to holistic approach to learning in 2022 we were shortlisted for the National ISA Award for Excellence and Innovation in Early Years, in 2020 we were shortlisted for the National ISA Award for Excellence in Pupil Personal Development, in 2019 we were shortlisted for the ISA Early Years Award for Excellence and Innovation in Provision, in 2018 we won the National ISA Award for Excellence in Extra-Curricular Activities and in 2016 we were finalist in the National ISA Award for Outdoor Learning.
