SPS IIT

Illinois Tech's Society of Physics Students is the premier physics student organization on campus. Under the current Presidency of Jacob H. Thomas, SPS IIT is developing programs and events to unify academics, research, and industry through the department, students, and outreach. SPS IIT hosts other clubs on campus such as Astronomy Club and Women in Physics. With the rich opportunities provided by the mentorship, tutoring, and career programs, the skills gained in the workshops on programming and proofs, and the scholarships provided for conference travels, tuition support, and research aid, each student member is led into a position of success and aptitude in the field of mathematics. SPS IIT consists of over 100 engaged student and faculty members, with the opportunities offered broadly spanning the interests of all members.
