Social and Political Sciences Society (SPSSoc) is the society run by and for SPS students at the University of York. SPS degree students are across four departments (Politics, Sociology, Social Policy and Philosophy). SPSSoc works to bring the social sciences community together at the university, by organising talks and events. We also represent and support everyone who studies under the School of SPS. Our Seminar Series engages the wider community with fascinating speakers and events.
