The United States Department of Special Projects and Unified Response Services (US-SPURS) is a newly formed Independent Federal Agency, with State level main offices in 50 states and territories, which was created in direct response to the growing long-term potential for economic instability, increased risk of health and safety, on-going potential for large-scale disasters both domestically and internationally, a need for faster and more deliberate delivery of federal resources and services, and a desired ability to rapidly and fundamentally change the Federal Government's modus operandi on how it conducts operations and delivers resources/services domestically and abroad. US-SPURS is a multi-disciplined organization, unofficially championed as a "Universal Services Agency (USA)", that employs personnel from a diverse list of job sectors to include: - law enforcement - fire fighting - healthcare - dental - vision - mental health - education - construction - Science - technology - military - human resources - food services - transportation and shipping - Agricultural - Finance and Banking - Retail - many other specialties The agency also conducts investigations into matters generally outside of law enforcements normal purview and that are of interest to any one of the three branches of government (executive, legislative, and judicial), matters of concern established by the Head of Agency, and matters deemed appropriate by individual investigators. All investigations are conducted fairly and impartially irrespective of politics, demographics, and economics. The Agency also employs integrated rapid response teams (IRRT) to respond, when directed, to disasters and emergencies by combining its self-sustaining IRRT's with the resources of multiple government agencies into one cohesive response and recovery unit.
