Sputnik Brain is a Samsung, United Nations Development Programme, IIT Madras and Emergent Ventures(Thiel Foundation) backed deeptech startup building a non-surgical neural interface to elicit clinically validated euphoria/stress alleviation instantly, through the brain's reward systems, at the convenience of a tap. With the mental health crisis of stress affecting 1 in 3 people, the world spending $1.6 trillion on alcohol and ~$1 trillion on cigarettes, causing irreversible damage to the people and the planet, there is a massive unmet need for a safe, non-exogenous & biomarker-driven neurotechnology that can dismantle these harmful and unsustainable industries. We aim to reimagine this by building clinically validated, scalable, frictionless and seamless BCI infrastructure to unleash a stress-free human civilization. Distinguished as one of the top 3 startups in Samsung & IIT Delhi's SFT out of 18,000+ teams, being one of the 12 shortlisted grant recipients of the United Nations Development Programme Youth Co:Lab in India, and the winner of IIT Kharagpur's Empresario out of 2000+startups in the country, our mission is to build and distribute a trailblazing breakthrough infrastructure in noninvasive brain modulation to unshackle our entire human civilization from suffering.
