Combining deep knowledge of plasma-based deposition processes with advanced modeling capabilities and mechanical engineering prowess, SputterTek LLC was founded over 20 years ago and is operated as an independent woman-owned / operated small business in Northern California.
Our Services
SputterTek, LLC designs and manufactures custom magnetrons for high-performance plasma-based vacuum deposition and surface engineering processes. We work closely with our clients to identify root causes for productivity or defect issues, design custom-engineered solutions that comply with the client's process envelope, manufacture the required hardware, and support process qualification to ensure performance to specification.
We work with a reliable network of local machine shops and material vendors that ensures reliability, accountability, and integrity. We select regionally-sourced vendors and components whenever possible.
Our clients are global suppliers of leading-edge thin-film filters with highly sensitive Intellectual Property contexts that we treat with the utmost confidentiality and integrity.
