SPWLA Qatar Chapter

We are The Qatar Chapter of The Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts (SPWLA), a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the advancement of the science of petrophysics and formation evaluation, through well logging and other formation evaluation techniques and to the application of these techniques to the exploitation of gas, oil and other minerals. We are based in Doha and welcome any professional/student interested in well logging and formation evaluation. The SPWLA Qatar Chapter promotes technical talks in close partnership with our sister and well-established Qatar SPE Section (QSPE). The committee is formed by a diverse range of Petrophysicists and Geoscientists working in Doha and has a good balance between Operators, University & Service Companies.
