The Susquehanna Regional EMS Council (SREMS) supports emergency medical services across Broome, Chenango, and Tioga Counties in upstate New York. Serving over 300,000 residents, SREMS helps coordinate a regional EMS system that responds to more than 28,000 emergency calls annually.
As one of 17 EMS Program Agencies in New York State, SREMS works closely with the Regional EMS Council and the NYS Department of Health to strengthen and support EMS operations. Key responsibilities include system coordination, training and education, oversight of EMS agency development, and providing technical support to agencies throughout the region.
