Established in 2019, The Society of Sustainable Business (SSB) is a student-run organization in collaboration with the JSOM Center for Global Business and its Sustainable Global Business Initiative. SSB operates on three core pillars: international, local, and corporate initiatives. Our international endeavors focus on nonprofit projects in African communities, aligned with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting sustainability and social impact.
Locally, we partner with non-profits in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to instill sustainable business practices and contribute to poverty alleviation efforts. Through corporate initiatives such as sustainable case competitions and speaker series, we provide students with opportunities to explore diverse career paths in sustainability and connect with industry professionals, fostering a culture of sustainability on campus and beyond.
